Nice study! I also work at a materials testing and failure analysis lab so its cool to see this type of work being done. By the way you forgot the scale bar on the higher mag shot :). Is there a reason you chose vickers instead of knoop? I see the ISO spec listed, but if you are just doing case hardness... knoop is preferable in my eyes. This is my first post, long time luker, though.
